Is Widget Bucks a Scam
Wednesday, November 14th, 2007    Subscribe To Our Feedwidget bucks is PPC (price per click) program. I see people flaming widget bucks in forums as a scam. This is not uncommon for new programs out there. After all widget bucks just Started in early October. the first payments for widget bucks will be sent out mid December. After those first checks are cut this will clam many of the people out there saying it is a scam. I really can’t uderstand why someone would even say they aren’t a legit company. After all they are the makers of Mpire. It’s not like this company just came to be they have been in the market for several years. Not only that would they really go throug hall the trouble of tracking my earnings and impresions every day. Since the launch of the new widget bucks program thye have done extensive code modifications and updates. This does not sound like a fly by night company but more like a company that wants to build a solid base.
Personally come mid December I will have a very nice pay check and really can’t wait. It should pay for most of my Christmas shopping

widget bucks and Adsense can be used on the same page. The reason is widget bucks can not be mistaken for google ads and there for no issues. I have had it on my sites for 3 months now and no issues.

It worked fine till December last week’s outage and from then on the earnings dropped drastically and I think there is something going on at the backend. I will quit once it reaches the minimum payout ($50), I used to get a min. of $40 with not so much of a traffic but now, with lot of traffic, I couldn’t even get $7 this entire month!!!
Stay away from WB and go with chitika/adsense @

Kiran: Have you split tested any of the widgets?
On one of my product sites promoting wifi products I am getting good CPC and a decent CTR. At first I was not but I changed layouts a few times and the color scheme a couple of times. It took 2 months for me to find the best palcement and color scheme for my site.
Regardless of what you use to monatize your site I would always test placement and color schemes.

Oh guys, this widgetbucks is a pure scam.
I have been with them 2 months, today jan 30, when the time came to pay me, they suspended my account without pay, saying that each click must likely lead to a purchase from the ad your visitors clicking on at your site-otherwise it is a fraud.
My friend’s account was suspended too-same reason, and many others.
So my 1500 bucks are gone, i am sick and tired of these scammers like widgetbucks, so want more info-send me an email I will explain you their game.
In short ,this guys will get their money for my visitors’ clicks, but when time comes to pay publisher-they suspend the account and save his money too.
A pay per click rate is 3-6 dollars from the merchant, they promise 10-40 cents per click to the publisher, they do not pay you for the first 2 months/so that you do not understand the game, then they suspend your account and -ALL MONEY I THEIR POCKET.
WHY THEY DO NOT SUSPEND YOU AFTER 1 MONTH THEN?
UNDERSTAND NOW?
Good luck-if you find something else-let me know
